7/10/2009 Lee’s Sandwiches wants to bring banh mi to the masses and in the process, redefine the concept of fast-food. All franchised locations are outfitted with Krispy Kreme-esque fluorescent signs, automated ordering systems, and full-color bilingual menus. With 37 operations in California, Arizona, Texas, Oklahoma, and a handful of international branches, for better or worse, Lee’s Sandwiches is the face of fast-food Vietnamese cuisine. Lee's Sandwich, Bargain Foods 10/6/2008 When I first went to this restaurant I expected the typical vietnamese pho sandwich, meaning  random msg flavorings inside the meat. I was wrong!

Lee's offers a semi-fresh deli like quality of food. Although the meats aren't what one would call top quality, it tastes like the price. The sandwiches are big for less than $3, I can only finish 1 sandwich and it fills me up! Pair that up with the iced coffee or the strawberry smoothie and you have a meal for a little over 5 bucks. I do NOT recommend the shredded pork, my God, the worst tasting "thing" I have ever put in my mouth. The bits of shredded unknown parts of the pork mixed with grainy like spices does not combine well with the baguette bread.

After eating your sandwich, you may feel intense pain in your stomach. The sandwich is made with baguette, they claim it is extremely fresh and made every couple hours but I think they use day old ones. I know, I'm complaining over a <$3 sandwich! If your wallet is light, come here. Its better than any McDonalds and cheaper than Carl's Jr. It will not disappoint! AVOID THE SHREDDED PORK!
