La Cachette is an intimate restaurant offering lighter New French cuisine hidden in Century City off of Santa Monica. Chef/Owner Jean Francois Meteigner demonstrates that delicious French cuisine can be healthy by cutting down the fat and calories without sacrificing flavor. French for "the hideaway," La Cachette certainly gives patrons the sensation of gastronomic escape.

I have been to this restaurant several times and feel that you go for the ambiance more than the food. It's tucked away in the century city residential neighborhood and it's just very quaint and quiet. The food and menu are a little boring ( and very pricey ), but the chocolate souffle is not to be missed.
